Danielle Rogan (MS4), along with Dr. Michael Kueht, presented her poster, “Continuous steroid immunosuppression versus early withdrawal in elderly liver transplant patients: a long-term assessment of adverse effects,” at the Annual Forum
on Aging.
The Forum on Aging provides a platform for faculty, fellows, and students present their aging-related research at UTMB. The educational and networking opportunity also offers awards for top student and fellow posters, sponsored by various organizations.
A message from Ms. Rogan:
"I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the Department of Surgery and for Dr. Kueht’s mentorship and guidance. Aging research, as well as Transplant research, are rich and constantly developing academic fields with the potential to enact great change. I’ve learned an incredible amount working with Dr. Kueht, my fellow student, John Johnson, and the rest of Dr. Kueht’s brilliant research team. I was happy to present our research at the Aging forum this past month and hope to continue to do research here."
Congratulations Danielle Rogan!
