    Gal Levy, MD, a surgeon in UTMB’s Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, has seen terrific success with the LINX Reflux Management System, which uses a magnetic augmentation device that acts as a reflux barrier. She says the vast majority of patients treated with LINX experience instant relief.

    "Is It Worth It?" UTMB Trauma Services Event Demonstrates the Dangers of Drinking & Drugged Driving

    The live, grant-funded production included many stages of a real-life scenario on drinking/drugged driving by including a staged car accident, transport to the hospital, jail, and death. Many thanks to Trauma Services and The Center for Addiction Research for coordinating this successful event.
