Dr. Hisham Marwan has been appointed as an examiner for the 2025 Oral Certifying Examination by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).

The Division of Plastic Surgery recently had the pleasure of hosting visiting professor William Kuzon, MD, PhD.

Dr. Carmen Mora (Pediatrics), Dr. Jacqueline Meyer (NEAR), Jourdan Pea (Pediatrics), Victor Luciano (Pathology) and John Carstens (Surgery) collaborated and produced a video called, Gastrostomy Tubes, for the patients. It was awarded 2024 gold Hermes Award.

Several School of Medicine students alongside Dr. Amina El Ayadi, Dr. Juquan Song, and Dr. Steven Wolf presented poster and podium research projects at the American Burn Association (ABA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
