Dr. Carmen Mora (Pediatrics), Dr. Jacqueline Meyer (NEAR), Jourdan Pea (Pediatrics), Victor Luciano (Pathology) and John Carstens (Surgery) collaborated and produced a video called, Gastrostomy Tubes, for the patients. It was awarded 2024 gold Hermes Award.

Several School of Medicine students alongside Dr. Amina El Ayadi, Dr. Juquan Song, and Dr. Steven Wolf presented poster and podium research projects at the American Burn Association (ABA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Michael Kueht and Jared Zhang (MS4) research manuscript, “Beyond prevention: Unveiling the benefits of triple vaccination on COVID-19 severity and resource utilization in solid organ transplant recipients,” is published in Transplant Immunology.

Dr. Laxmi Dongur and Avery Koi (MS2) were presented James W. McLaughlin Awards for their presentations.
