1. How can I find out what's available in the warehouse?

View selected items on-line at: http://www.shattuck.com, or in person by visiting the warehouse during open house Fridays. Call for an appointment at any time other than open house.

2. Can I buy something from the Surplus Equipment Warehouse?

Yes, when it is advertised at public auction. Please visit surplus Property Information e-Auctions and Live Auctions on this web site for more information.

3. How often do you have a public auction?

On-line auctions are held on a regular bi-monthly basis: September, November, January, March, May and July. However, the schedule is subject to change by dictate of circumstances. Whereas, we no longer rely on "live" auctions, we may need to schedule one on occasion.

4. How will I know when the next public auction is scheduled?

5. Can surplus equipment be donated to my church?

Sorry, no

6. Can surplus equipment be donated to my child's school?

Yes, if it is a Texas public school. Surplus equipment may not be donated to a private school.

7. I received new equipment, does it need to have an asset property tag?

Maybe. Is it already tagged? If not, we need the PO number to determine if the item meets the criteria. Please call Inventory Tagging, 409.747.7903.

8. What is required of my department prior to picking up surplus?

9. Can I send surplus warehouse when a new item is delivered?

Yes, if you call Supply Chain Management Delivery in advance to schedule it.

10. How long does it take to pick up surplus equipment?

About one week from the time of receipt of the SEW form in Supply Chain Management Delivery.
