Supply Chain Operations

The Supply Chain Operations division at UTMB plays a critical role in supporting patient care, education, and research by ensuring the timely availability of essential products and services. Our responsibilities span PAR and Storeroom management, Mail Services, Distribution, Receiving and Delivery, Perioperative support (including case pulling for the OR), Linen Services, and Warehouse Operations. We manage medical and surgical supplies, non-medical materials, medical and non-medical gases, U.S. mail, and capital equipment across all UTMB business units.

To maintain efficiency and accuracy, Supply Chain Operations utilizes PeopleSoft Inventory and Pyxis systems, with plans to implement RFID technology for enhanced tracking and automation. Our team operates across all four UTMB campuses - Galveston, League City, Clear Lake, and Angleton Danbury - ensuring seamless service and support wherever it’s needed.
