UTMB Health Administrative Fellowship Program
Since 1991, the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) Administrative Fellowship Program has been committed to developing future healthcare leaders, mentoring more than 50 fellows over the past 35 years.
The UTMB Health Administrative Fellowship offers a uniquely immersive, enterprise-wide experience within a diverse and highly integrated Academic Health System. As the sole Administrative Fellow within the UTMB enterprise, the Fellow works directly within the Clinical Enterprise C-Suite, gaining unparalleled exposure to executive leadership, strategic decision-making, and health system operations.
Throughout the 12-month fellowship, the Fellow collaborates closely with senior leaders while contributing to high-impact strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. Areas of exposure may include:

Guided by a dedicated Program Preceptor and mentored by executive leadership, the Fellow develops a comprehensive understanding of the operational, strategic, and cultural complexities of Academic Medicine. Upon completion of the program, Fellows are equipped with the leadership perspective, business acumen, and adaptive skillset necessary to thrive in today’s evolving healthcare environment.
