UTMB Health Administrative Fellowship Program

Since 1991, the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Administrative Fellowship Program has been dedicated to developing the next generation of healthcare leaders, having successfully mentored over 48 post-graduate students. At UTMB Health, our Administrative Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure across a dynamic and integrated Academic Health System, including an expansive Academic Enterprise and robust Institutional Support System. As the sole Administrative Fellow within the UTMB enterprise, the Fellow will complete a 12-month, immersive post-graduate experience based in the Clinical Enterprise C-Suite. This placement allows for direct collaboration with the Health System’s Executive Leadership Team. Under the guidance of a dedicated Program Preceptor and the mentorship of senior executives, the Fellow will build a comprehensive understanding of the strategic, operational, and cultural complexities of Academic Medical Centers. Upon successful completion of the program, Fellows will be equipped with the business insight, professional maturity, and adaptive tools required to navigate and lead in today’s evolving healthcare environment.
