UTMB Health Administrative Fellowship Program

Since 1991, the University of Texas Medical Branch Administrative Fellowship Program has helped to transform over 48 successful post-graduate students into the next generation of healthcare leaders. At UTMB Health, we are committed to ensuring that the Administrative Fellow gains exposure to not only a multifaceted Academic Health System, but also the unparallelled experience of an integrated Academic Enterprise and Institutional Support System. As the sole Administrative Fellow of the entire UTMB Enterprise, Fellows will have the exceptional opportunity to undergo a 12-month post-graduate program, reside their office at the Clinical Enterprise C-Suite, and work closely with the members of the Health System's Executive Team. Through the guidance of the Program preceptor and mentorship of the Executive Team, Fellows will be encouraged to grow and accumulate a thorough understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing Academic Medical Systems. Upon successfully graduating from the Fellowship Program, Fellows will be equipped with the business skillset, professional acumen, and tools necessary to embrace a rapidly evolving Healthcare Landscape.
