Administrative Fellowship Program
At the University of Texas Medical Branch Health System (UTMB Health), we are committed to
ensuring the administrative fellow gains exposure to the operations of a
multifaceted health system and the unique challenges faced by academic
medical centers and essential hospitals.
The Administrative Fellowship Program provides recent
graduates from an accredited MHA program or similar degree plan with the
opportunity to begin a successful career in healthcare administration.
Fellows will apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world
situations and explore hospital operations through the completion of a
wide range of projects. Fellows receive a mentorship with the Vice President, Health System Operations & Regional Hospitals.
The application period for the 2020-2021 fellowship will begin in June 2019.
