T1 - T4 in 3 Minutes Competition

Are you a UTMB graduate student or postdoctoral fellow?  Do you think you can explain your research in layman’s terms…in less than three minutes? 

The Institute for Translational Sciences presents our annual T1-T4 in 3 (Minutes) competition, an innovative contest that challenges UTMB graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to effectively explain their translational research for a lay audience in three minutes or less. 

 Date: Thursday, April 11,2024 

Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm   

Location: Health Education Center, Room 2.206 

 1st Place: $750 

2nd Place: $500 

3rd Place: 250 

People’s Choice Award: $750 

Blackstone LaunchPad Award: $750 

Applications are due by 5pm on March 18th.  To submit your abstract, please use this link: https://redcap.link/T1-4.2024 

 Only 12 abstracts are selected for the competition.
