The Universidad de Monterrey medical school has partnered with JSSOM’s Bilingual Health Scholarly Concentration BLHU4003 to provide MS4s with a year-long virtual English/Spanish language exchange elective.
Frontera de Salud is an interdisciplinary student run organization focused on service to underserved communities in Texas. This includes mission trips to Presidio County, Texas, Senior Care at Holland House, and multiple community service initiatives in the Galveston area including collaborations with Seeding Galveston and Street Medicine.
Centers of Excellence Consortium
The Centers of Excellence Consortium consists of six Centers of Excellence committed to pooling resources and expertise to support an annual faculty development conference open to all faculty from participating institutions.
The Latin Medical Student Association is a national student-run organizations with a large, active local chapter on campus.

Established in 1994 in Washington, DC, the National Hispanic Medical Association is a non-profit association representing the interests of 50,000 licensed Hispanic physicians in the United States.
