Take 5 to review your myPTO impact statement!

UTMB has produced personalized impact statements to support all benefits-eligible employees with the launch of the myPTO program.

The statement was sent to your UTMB email address on March 23, 2022, and it goes over:

  • Transfer of your existing vacation and sick leave hours to the myPTO program

All vacation and sick leave hours you previously accrued under the state-sponsored plans will be deposited into your myVacation Carry Forward and EIB Leave banks.

  • PTO accrual rates and maximum carryforward limit

PTO hours are accrued monthly based on your total years of state service and FTE status. PTO carryforward limits are administered on a fiscal year basis based on your total years of state service as of March 28, 2022. The maximum carryforward limit allocated to you on this date will remain with you until you separate or retire from UTMB.

  • EIB accrual rates

EIB hours are accrued annually based on your FTE status at the beginning of the fiscal year and are credited in a lump sum. You will receive a prorated lump sum of EIB hours on April 1, 2022, to reflect the number of months remaining in FY22.
