UTMB President Dr. David L. Callender joined School of Nursing Dean Pamela G. Watson for the annual ceremony that welcomes new students.
New students this year include 385 undergraduate, 198 graduate and 21 doctoral candidates. Total enrollment for the 2014-2015 academic year is 1,290. In 2014, the School of Nursing awarded 414 BSN, 107 MSN, seven DNP and 13 PhDs.
Incoming students come from around the state, nation and world. Almost a dozen states and ten countries of origin are represented in this diverse group, including four BOIs.
