The Rehab Team, along with volunteers from Great American Mobility and Medical Equipment, cleaned more than 25 wheelchairs during a free community wheelchair clinic on May 30. The Rehab Team is comprised of staff from ADC's Rehabilitation Department, Jr. Volunteers and local business technicians from Great American Mobility, who clean and provide minor repairs to wheelchairs. This is the fifth year that the ADC has coordinated the wheelchair clinic. Thank you for all that you do for your community!


The Angleton Danbury Campus Team participated in the annual Chevron Phillips 66 Health Fair in Old Ocean, Texas. With more than 500 employees attending the health fair throughout the day, the staff was able to share the excitement of being part of the UTMB family, as well as introduce our newest physician, Dr. O. Cai, Cardiology.


UTMB Health Angleton Danbury Campus participated as one of the sponsors and supporters for the Brazosport College Foundation Golf Tournament held at the Wilderness Golf Course. Team members from both Galveston and Angleton had the opportunity to network and visit with local college and industry leaders as well as enjoy a day on the course.


The Angleton Danbury Campus Auxiliary awarded six $1,000 scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year. Scholarships were given to deserving students who are majoring in human health sciences. Congratulations to Heather Vincent, Shelly Green, Sydney Travis, Jessica Milligan, Jennifer Osburn and Molly Wilson. Thank you to both our medical staff and volunteers for their continued support for the education of students entering the health care field.
