Single Cell Genomics Core (SCGC)
MD Anderson Cancer Center
The Single Cell Genomics Core (SCGC) at MD Anderson Cancer Center, which was previously known as the CPRIT Single Core, is focused on providing the best of single cell genomic, transcriptomics and epigenomic technologies for cancer researchers. The goal is to use cutting-edge instrumentation, methods and innovative method in single cell genomics to provide investigators with comprehensive support for processing single cell samples in variety of techniques, including in-house assays developed by the Navin Lab, as well as providing single cell 10X genomics technology, such as RNA 3′, 5′ or ATAC assays. For all of these assays, the core provides pre- and post-experimentation consults, data review of sequencing data and bioinformatic quality control review. Our facility provides a defocus into single cell technologies and allows scientists to have the best expertise in single cell genomic and cellular biology.
Looking for a particular piece of equipment?
Did you know that the GCC has a Shared Equipment and Resource Committee (SERC) composed of the Directors/Leaders in equipment inventory and acquisition from each of the GCC institutions? If you are looking for a particular piece of equipment, please email Suzanne Tomlinson, and the committee members will work together to try to locate it and introduce you to the PI who owns/administers it.
