Dr. Katherine Becker is the distinguished administrative lead for the department, bringing over 35 years of progressive experience in academic health care settings. Throughout her career, Dr. Becker has held pivotal roles where she oversaw all administrative and operational aspects of various areas within the University. Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in driving departmental success and fostering an environment of excellence.

In her pursuit of academic and professional growth, Dr. Becker recently completed a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Baylor University, focusing on leadership and organizational change. Her cutting-edge research delves into the innovative use of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies in medical education, positioning her at the forefront of this dynamic field. Dr. Becker's impressive educational background also includes a Master of Health Care Administration (MHA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both obtained from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Her comprehensive knowledge in these areas enhances her ability to lead with strategic insight and operational acumen.
