Motorists traveling on I-45 and in the vicinity of the League City Campus this weekend may expect delays, as  work near the overpass at Hwy 96/League City Parkway will close all but one southbound lane. 

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, construction crews will close three lanes on the southbound side of Interstate 45 beginning at 9 p.m. Friday evening, Jan. 26. The lanes will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday morning, Jan. 29.  The closed section stretches from Hwy 96 to FM-646.

The work is in the immediate vicinity of the League City Campus, and will likely impact mobility in the region, including on the adjacent feeder road. Remember the League City Campus can be accessed from W. Walker Street, if there is congestion.
