Motorists who travel through Galveston County should be aware of recent traffic pattern changes in the State Highway 146/Interstate 45 corridor.
The original SH 146 westbound connector ramp to I-45 southbound has closed and traffic from SH 146 has been rerouted, as of Saturday, Aug. 8. Related I-45 traffic pattern changes were also part of this long-term construction project. Employees, students and patients should check road conditions, allow additional travel time, and exercise caution when driving through the area.
