Kendall Kiser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UTMB. An Idaho native, Dr. Kiser moved to Houston in 2015 to complete dual MD/MS in Biomedical Informatics degrees from the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School and D. Bradley McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth. After graduating medical school, Dr. Kiser completed an internal medicine internship at McGovern before continuing to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis for radiation oncology residency, where he served as a chief resident. Dr. Kiser is interested in physician informatics literacy and in the role of physician users in the design and deployment of health information technologies. His research has been published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics, Medical Physics, and other journals.
