Zayne Belal, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UTMB Health. Trained across the full range of radiation oncology subspecialties and treatment modalities, Dr. Belal currently maintains a clinical focus in central nervous system and head and neck malignancies. Driven by the field’s unique blend of close, longitudinal patient relationships and advanced technology, and he brings a patient-centered approach to his practice. He prioritizes clear communication and shared decision-making throughout treatment.

He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center before completing both an internal medicine internship and radiation oncology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. His research has been published across multiple peer-reviewed journals.
