MSTAR Student Receives Fulbright Award
Juan D. Ventura, MS, John Sealy School of Medicine class of 2024, former MSTAR student and poster winner in the annual Forum on Aging, has been selected for a Fulbright Award to the United Kingdom.

Dear colleagues,
Please join me in congratulating Juan D. Ventura, MS, John Sealy School of Medicine class of 2024, on his selection for a Fulbright Award to the United Kingdom! Mr. Ventura is UTMB’s first student recipient of a Fulbright Award in many years.
Through the Fulbright Program, Mr. Ventura has been accepted to study Dance Science at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Arts in London, England, for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The Fulbright Program is the world’s largest and most diverse international educational program. It is devoted to increasing mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries, encouraging participants to engage in their local communities while exemplifying the qualities of service, leadership, and excellence throughout the exchange.
