Throughout September we’re recognizing World Alzheimer’s Month by raising awareness, honoring those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and supporting efforts to advance research and care.
How are you commemorating World Alzheimer’s Month?
One way to make a difference is by joining the SCOA Team at the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Stewart Beach in Galveston. Together, we can support families impacted by Alzheimer’s, promote awareness, and help advance the search for better treatments and a cure.

Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
