Staff & Senior Volunteers Distribute Gifts to Seniors

Sealy Center on Aging staff and members of the Americorps Senior program of Galveston County assisted with distributing 40 gift cards to local seniors during the holidays. Thanks to Alice, Melissa, Monique, Lucy, Kelley, Sue, Ritchie, Shawn, Summer, Isamar and Steph for contributing your time.

Also in December, Education Specialist Alice Williams gave a presentation, “Understanding Social Isolation and its Health Effects,” at Parson’s House Assisted Living in La Porte, TX.
