Nurses deliver COVID vaccines to homebound patients

Geriatric Nurse Practitioners Jennifer Young and Tammie Michael helped dozens of homebound people in Galveston County receive their second doses of COVID-19 vaccinations last week during the difficult weather.

“It was a privilege to go out and help people,” Young said. “We had the resources and we were actually able to make a difference. We were giving people exactly what they needed at that time.”
