Mar 25, 2026, 10:25 AM by SCOA

DYK? More than 115 million U.S. adults have prediabetes.

March 24 was Diabetes Alert Day, and CBS News featured UTMB’s Dr. Hanaa Sallam to spotlight the CDC‑accredited Diabetes Prevention Program she leads.

A program participant also talks about what they learned along the way.
