The Sealy Center on Aging invites you to attend the 2026 Annual Forum on Aging, celebrating 29 years of showcasing aging research at UTMB.

This annual event brings together faculty, fellows, students, and staff from across the university to share innovative aging research, connect with colleagues, and learn more about the research services and opportunities available through the Sealy Center on Aging.

The Forum on Aging provides a valuable platform for researchers at all stages of their careers to present their work and engage with the broader UTMB community. The event also features poster presentations, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding research contributions.

Calling All Student and Fellow Presenters

Abstract submissions open September 1, 2026.

Students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and fellows are encouraged to submit abstracts showcasing their aging-related research. Monetary awards will be presented for the top student and fellow posters.

Important: For students, postdocs, fellows, and residents, abstract submission secures your presentation slot and eligibility for awards. To be considered for judging, the eligible presenter must be listed as the first author.

Additional details regarding abstract submission, poster guidelines, and event logistics will be shared when submissions open.
