SCOA Showcases Age Tech Innovation at Houston Day

Dr. Morrow, SCOA Director, and Abigail Cristocea, Research Coordinator, recently represented the Sealy Center on Aging at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Factory Run of Show during the Greater Houston Partnership's Houston Day.

During the event, they demonstrated ELLIQ, a social companion robot being studied through the Texas Age Tech Initiative. Designed to support health and wellness at home, ELLIQ helps older adults stay engaged, connected, and independent.

Houston Day brought together leaders and innovators from across the region, providing opportunities to share emerging technologies, build partnerships, and highlight research that improves the lives of older adults.
