Representing UTMB at the Alzheimer’s Association Health Care Summit
This week, LaKesha Golliday, Clinical Research Coordinator, and Alice Williams, MS, LBSW, Manager of Communications & Community Initiatives, represented our team at the Alzheimer’s Association Health Care Summit: Advancing Quality and Innovation.
The summit brought together national health care leaders, providers, and key influencers to share strategies for improving quality care, strengthening dementia care systems, and reducing the overall cost of care. Through educational sessions and peer-to-peer discussions, attendees explored innovative models and practical approaches that can be adapted and scaled within their organizations.
LaKesha and Alice returned with valuable insights and new connections that will help inform our ongoing efforts to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as their families and caregivers. We are grateful for their commitment to advancing excellence in dementia care and community engagement.
