Researchers Attend Annual Pepper Meeting

Researchers from the Sealy Center on Aging and UTMB Pepper Center attended an annual meeting presented by the Coordinating Board of the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center in April 2022. Attendees from UTMB included Elena Volpi, Blake Rasmussen, Rafael Samper-Ternent, Erin Hommel, Sadaf Milani, Neil Mehta, Andrew Murton, and Huiwen Xu.

Sadaf Milani presented her paper, Trends in the Use of Benzodiazepines, Z-Hypnotics, and Serotonergic Drugs Among US Women and Men Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic. during a session about high-impact publications with early career faculty.
