Getting an Informal Estimate for Your Care
MyChart Patient Estimate Tool – (No log-in required)
The MyChart Patient Estimate Tool is an easy-to-use online resource to assist patients with obtaining a self-generated cost estimate based on insurance availability, coverage and benefit plan.
The MyChart tool provides information on several hundred of the most frequently performed services and procedures provided at UTMB.
- In order to enhance the accuracy and ensure the estimate is for the appropriate treatment or procedure, please provide the exact procedure code (CPT) and the diagnosis code (ICD-10) for the services that are of interest.
- This information can be provided to you by your physician or clinic.

- The informal estimate is not a final or formal estimate and will not be added to your MyChart account.
- Once information is provided, you will receive a response within 2-3 business days.
