In our continuing effort to train the next generation of vaccinologists, the Sealy Center for Vaccine Development is proud to announce two new course offerings within the UTMB graduate school curriculum.

The first is offered as an elective in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and is entitled, Introduction to Vaccinology: Vaccines for the 21st Century.  Initially offered in the Fall of 2003, this introductory course is designed to provide the basic scientist with an understanding of vaccine development from conceptualization through development, testing and utilization.

The second is offered through the Graduate Program in Public Health and is entitled, Immunizations for the Protection of Public Health.  First offered in the Spring of 2004, this course provides students with an understanding of vaccine development and  immunization policies.
