UTMB's Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) offers many degree programs, including eleven Masters' degrees and eleven PhD degrees, with the option of combined degrees such as MD/PhD , PhD/MOT, PhD/DPT and PhD/MPH. There are also multiple specialized programs and training opportunities available in areas such as Interdisciplinary Toxicology, Emerging and Tropical Infectious Diseases and Space Life Sciences. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is available to assist incoming and current postdoctoral scientists with their professional, educational and social inquiries.
Most SCVD faculty members are also members of at least one graduate program and welcome students and postdoctoral scientists into their labs for research training. Graduate students and postdocs can apply to be funded from one of the T-32 training grant programs or through the SCVD Fellowship program or the McLaughlin Fellowship program.
