The purpose of the
Pre-Doctoral and Post- Doctoral Fellowship program is to encourage young scientists to
participate in the Sealy Center for Vaccine Development by supporting
projects that are consistent with the mission of the center and
focused on vaccinology in general. All trainees whose
mentor is a faculty member in the Sealy Center for Vaccine Development
are eligible to apply. |
The purpose of student awards is to sponsor Pre-Doctoral and/or Post-Doctoral trainees to attend scientific venues (meetings/conferences/symposia) that will enhance their academic research experience. Trainees have the opportunity to present their research as an oral/poster presentation. By attending scientific meetings, trainees have networking opportunities and can acquire knowledge of current and relevant research in the broad field of vaccinology. Abstracts for a respective scientific meeting must include SCVD in the byline and at the meeting the oral/poster presentation must recognize SCVD sponsorship by inclusion of the SCVD logo, which will be provided by SCVD. Graduate students whose mentor is a member of the Sealy Center for Vaccine Development are eligible to apply. |
