Our research involves determining the role of Aeromonas hydrophila enterotoxins in the pathogenesis of disease. Future studies include determining structure-function relationships, mechanism of action and vaccine development. My administrative duties include, but are not limited to, responsibility for UTMB's science education programs, a health science career program, student and faculty recruitment as well as UTMB diversity activities.
