UTMB Anesthesiology Residents are active around campus. Many are members of Resiterns, a group of interns, residents, fellows and their families that provide support for one another through special interest, social service and community activities. www.utmb.edu/resiterns/
Our residents also participate in multiple committees around UTMB including the Transfusion Committee, Internal Review Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and Graduate Medical Education Committee
The Anesthesiology Department sends a resident delegate yearly to the Texas Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Anesthesiology Meetings. Residents attend at least one national meeting and may be supported with additional meeting time when presenting.
