The John Sealy Annex Level 2 Corridor is now complete and all pathways have reopened.
The front entrance and circle drive for John Sealy Hospital reopened on Jan. 11, 2024, after closing in 2022 for Phase III of the John Sealy Hospital Modernization project. The work included replacement of the porte cochère and brick façade, as well as extensive interior renovations and new equipment and furnishings throughout.
Construction detours for Garage 2, the Emergency Department and the UTMB Health Clinics (UHC) building began on December 23, 2022 to accommodate a renovation. The project has now been completed.
