Two From UTMB Receive Dunn Awards

Congratulations to two UTMB faculty members who have been named John S. Dunn Collaborative Research Award Program recipients.

Professional Photo of Agenor LimonAgenor Limon, MSc, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, is Co-PI for “Exploring excitatory to inhibitory synaptic ratio as a novel target in bipolar disorder and suicide.” PI is Gabriel Fries of UT Health Science Center at Houston.

Awarded by the Gulf Coast Consortia, this seed grant program continues to build a collaborative environment and fund projects with high potential for impacting human health.
