    Mental Health Month Highlights

    During National Mental Health Awareness Month, the Academic Enterprise Office of Wellness sought to create "More Good Days, Together" – bringing the UTMB community together through a series of wellness activities that encouraged connection, reflection, and balance.

    SON Strategic Plan Launch

    The UTMB School of Nursing officially launched the SON SHINE Strategic Plan on May 4, bringing together faculty, staff, leadership and Advisory Council members to celebrate this important milestone.

    During National Nurses Week, UTMB announced a $4 million gift from the Sealy & Smith Foundation to launch the ISLAND (Integrating Student Living to Advance Nursing Development) Promise.

    Important Update for TMB Licensees: New CE Tracking Requirement

    The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has announced an important update that will affect all TMB licensees beginning Sept. 1, 2026. Under new state requirements, all continuing education (CE) must be tracked and verified through CE Broker, the Board’s official CE tracking system, prior to license renewal.
