    Call for Mentees and Mentors

    The Office of Faculty Affairs is excited to announce the call for mentees and mentors to join the Advancing Research through Mentorship (ARM) Program. This initiative supports early-career researchers in securing independent funding and establishing a sustainable research program through personalized mentorship, training, and resources.

    UTMB proudly sponsors one of the nation’s largest interprofessional student-run free clinics, providing vital care to uninsured, indigent patients in our community. Our UTMB students pour thousands of volunteer hours into running these clinics, reflecting extraordinary dedication and compassion.

  • Congratulations, IDEA Grant Recipients

    The IDEA Program has awarded more than $1 million to 18 innovative research projects at UTMB. The Innovation, Discovery & Technology Commercialization (IDEA) grants program is a new collaboration of the Sealy Institute for Drug Discovery, UTMB’s Office of Innovation, the Office of Development, the Moody Brain Health Institute, the Galveston National Laboratory, and the Department of Internal Medicine.
