The inaugural Office of Team Science Pilot Program launched in November as a bold step toward fostering interdisciplinary collaboration at UTMB. Focused on addressing global health challenges, the program unites expertise across schools and institutes, empowering researchers to tackle complex health issues through innovative, team-driven approaches. Congratulations to the six teams selected to receive funding.

The IDEA Program has awarded more than $1 million to 18 innovative research projects at UTMB. The Innovation, Discovery & Technology Commercialization (IDEA) grants program is a new collaboration of the Sealy Institute for Drug Discovery, UTMB’s Office of Innovation, the Office of Development, the Moody Brain Health Institute, the Galveston National Laboratory, and the Department of Internal Medicine.
