On August 21, the inaugural cohort of ISLAND Scholars moved into their new home through the ISLAND Promise Program and officially began their journey at the UTMB School of Nursing.
Students were welcomed by School of Nursing leadership, faculty, staff, UTMB Housing, and Dr. Deborah Klesel, who was recently appointed as the ISLAND Promise Track Coordinator. Congratulations, Dr. Klesel, on this new role!
