I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. This season of gratitude is the perfect time to express my heartfelt thanks to my team in the Academic Enterprise and to my colleagues across UTMB. Your dedication and unwavering commitment to our mission make me proud to serve UTMB as Senior Vice President, Provost, and Chief Academic Officer. I am looking forward to what’s ahead!
This is also a time of great excitement for UTMB overall. The launch of our new brand on December 2 marks the beginning of an inspiring chapter, defined by our tagline: “Where purpose meets passion.” Our institution has always been powered by brilliant, passionate individuals who put their heart and soul into everything they do. Our new tagline and INSPIRE values beautifully reflect that spirit.
As the holiday season continues, I hope you find time to relax, recharge, and enjoy moments with loved ones. While our work often demands a great deal from us, it is important to pause and celebrate this season of gratitude and giving.
