We are proud to highlight UTMB School of Nursing faculty members Drs. Sarah Hibbs and Bushra Manakatt, along with our outstanding nursing student and scholarship recipient, Amirah Abu‑Tair, who were recognized through the Houston Chronicle Salute to Nurses program.
This recognition honors the passion, dedication, and purpose nurses bring to their work every day and we are fortunate to see these qualities reflected in both our faculty and students.
Dr. Hibbs, Dr. Manakatt, and Amirah were featured in a special Houston Chronicle editorial section and honored at the Salute to Nurses luncheon, representing the excellence the UTMB School of Nursing.
