The School of Nursing was proud to have four presentations featured at the 14th ICN Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse Network Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. With more than 2,000 attendees from over 70 countries, the conference highlighted the incredible impact of nurses advancing health care around the globe.

2026 Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TxANA) Annual Convention

UTMB attendees line up for a posed photo at the TxANA Convention. Two on each end are wearing light blue UTMB T-shirts and the four in the center have on orange tropical print shirts.

Congratulations to our UTMB School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia students on an outstanding showing! Over three days of learning, networking, and professional engagement alongside CRNAs, SRNAs, educators, and anesthesia leaders from across the state, our students proudly represented UTMB and brought home a major victory by winning first place in the TxANA College Bowl during the program's inaugural appearance in the competition.

A special thank-you to our faculty for supporting and mentoring our students throughout the convention. We are incredibly proud of this team's knowledge, preparation, teamwork, and dedication to the nurse anesthesia profession.
