The UTMB Health Institute for the Medical Humanities is pleased to share that faculty member Anne Hudson Jones, PhD, was a recent guest on the Hippocrates Initiative for Poetry and Medicine's podcast.
Donald Singer, PhD, a co-founder of the initiative, interviewed Dr. Jones and Hugues Marchal, PhD, about the use of poetry in medical and scientific education. Dr. Marchal is a faculty member at the University of Basel in Basel, Switzerland. Their appearance is related to the upcoming awards ceremony for the International Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine which will be held in May 2013.
