Dr. Andrew J. Taylor, RRT, RRT-NPS, RPFT, RCP, who received his PhD from the Medical Humanities Graduate Program in December 2020, recently accepted a position as Assistant Professor (tenure track) and Program Director for the Respiratory Therapy Program in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University in Houston. While a graduate student at UTMB, Dr. Taylor was an active member of the IBHH and PMPH communities, serving as president of Students for Bioethics and the Humanities, a student representative on the PMPH Graduate Policy Committee, and the chair or co-chair of three of the annual IBHH Student Colloquia.
