Dr. Andrew Taylor, IBHH alumni, selected for mentorship program

Dr. Andrew J. Taylor, RRT, RRT-NPS, RPFT, RCP, PhD (Medical Humanities, 2020), Assistant Professor and Director of the Respiratory Therapy Program in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University (TSU) in Houston, has been selected for the 2022 Collaborative TSU Experience and Academic Mentoring (TEAM) in the Research Center for Minority Institutions (RCMI) of the Center for Biomedical and Minority Health Research (CBMHR). CBMRH TEAM RCMI is a structured mentorship program that “aims to better position post-doctoral fellows and early-stage faculty whose research focuses on addressing issues within the biomedical sciences, minority health research and health disparities, to easily navigate through the increasingly complex demands of their careers, to thrive professionally, and to be active members of the academic community.”   Congratulations, Dr. Taylor, on your selection for this important opportunity!
