Dr. Anne Hudson Jones, Hobby Family Professor in Medical Humanities, was honored as the recipient of this year’s Rose Grundfest Schneider, PhD Award at a special reception on March 30th. Established by Nancy Schneider Heller, JD, in memory of her mother, the award rotates among UTMB faculty members whose work in hematology, community service, pediatrics, and medical humanities exemplifies Dr. Schneider’s core values. Dr. Joan C. Richardson, last year’s recipient, introduced Dr. Jones and formally conferred this year’s award.
