On October 2, 2023, IBHH faculty members Dr. Stephen Molldrem, Dr. Elise Smith, and Dr. Jeffrey S. Farroni published an article with several collaborators in the UTMB Institute for Translational Sciences (ITS) Team Science Core. The qualitative study in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Sciences explored team dynamics during the formation of a Multi-Institutional Cross-Disciplinary Translational Team (MCTT). MCTTs are an increasingly important organizational unit in translational science and health sciences research generally.
