National Medical Librarians Month is the ideal time to meet the librarians at UTMB. The four Reference Librarians serve as liaisons to establish close working relationships with faculty and staff and provide trustworthy and curated information to support your research, patient care, and teaching.

Meet Alison Hansen, MLIS:

Alison joined Moody Medical Library in March 2020. She earned her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of North Texas. She holds a certificate in Systematic Review Services Specialization from the Medical Library Association.

Alison is here to help navigate the evolving landscape of medical literature. Her special interests include Evidence Syntheses and Embedded Librarianship.

Alison proudly serves as library liaison for the following schools/departments:
