Amanda Barber

Amanda Barber joined UTMB in 2014, when she began working with the Institutional Review Board as the Regulatory Assistant; she was promoted to Regulatory Associate in 2015. She reviews expedited and exempt initial applications along with the expedited continuing reviews.  

Amanda is a "go-to person" for many investigators and research personnel, and this is a direct reflection of her work commitment and the level of customer service she provides.  

Prior to working at UTMB, Amanda worked for the Galvestonian Condominiums for six years where she served as the Front Desk Supervisor.  

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her two favorite holidays are Mardi Gras and Halloween!
