Belinda Rivera, MLAS, MLS, LVT, CMAR

Belinda Rivera joined the Provost’s Office in June 2021. Belinda is a Lead Biosafety Professional in the Department of Biosafety. She supports the academic and research enterprises by providing instruction on safe work practices in high containment laboratories. Belinda is also a member of the International Biosafety Training Center, which provides instruction on safe work practices for external organizations. 

Before joining the Provost’s Office, Belinda worked for 25 years for various organizations including academia and private industry, where her work experience has included cardiovascular and cancer research along with surgical and biosafety training.
